I think Tony got hosed by Menard, but I have to look at it this way: Menard helped Tony as much and as long as he could, but Childress would be pretty pissed if Tony had beat his cars, just as Tony would be PO'ed if Newman had pushed someone past him.

It's a racing competition, not a popularity contest, and RCR cars, just as SHR, HMS, a RPM and any other team, have obligations to their teams, their sponsors & owners, and their fans.
